From my newletter (guidebook ordered but not here yet):
"BEAM will be a feature of the National Hobby & Craft Show (which attracts more
than 22,000 visitors) March 4-6 in the Automotive Building at Exhibition Place
in Toronto. your interest in robotics can be expanded by visiting the
CANADA FIRST radio-controlled robot competition, another exciting feature
of the Hobby show. This event teams high school students supported by
professional engineers from industry and post-secondary institutions.
they compete for awards in a game that is a cross between soccer and basketball.

The university-level Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) will take place on
the same weekend at the Novotel Hotel (Downtown Toronto). BEAM registrans will
have access to certain CANADA FIRST and CEC events (subject to space availability).

Order your 1994 BEAM robot Games Guide and mail your competitor registration form today. Competitor registrations can only be guaranteed until FEBRUARY 15.
etc,etc,etc...Please direct specific questions about rules or
