The San Francisco Robotics Society announces a Robot Sumo Competition to be 
held on Sunday, May 1, 1994 at the College of Engineering at San Jose State 
University in San Jose, California. 

Robot Sumo is a contest in which two robots attempts to push one another from 
a small (approximately 5 feet in diameter) circular pad. The robots may compete 
in one of two classes, radio-controlled or autonomous. They are restricted in 
size (must fit in a 20 cm x 20 cm footprint) and weight (3 kilograms).

The defining rules of the contest are set by Fuji Software in Japan. A copy of 
these rules is available from the San Francisco Robotics Society Bulletin Board 
( 415-648-6427) or they will be included in return confirmations to registrants 
for the contest.

There is no fee to register for the contest. You may enter as manyn   ___
