ideas and sujestions needed.
i would like to build a radio controlled robot that could be used to
survey
an (for arguments sake) tractor trailer acident.
i have just built a simple microcontrlr that links my laptop to a robotic
arm
and works very well.
what i would like to do is further the use of the cntrlr to run:
a video camera mounted on the arm
some sensors ie: temp, gas, and other verious chem type sensors
and the base it self (thinking of using a highley modified toy ....
the type of 4 wheel drive car your 2-5 year old drives around the back
yard)
just because i have one and the elec. motors and gearing seem to be the
ticket.
the problem or should i say what will be my first problem is linking my
laptop
to a radio control unit, say like a radio controlled plane type unit.
i would like to start by running the arm alone by radio control thru the
laptop.

any ideas would be great!
