Hi fellow real-time engineers!

I am trying to conduct a (non-scientific) poll about popular micro-
controllers, and I hope you take the time to send me an email (to my address)
with your answers (be short and precise please). Feel free to include more
comments or opinions.

1) What processor you use?
2) Have you used the 8051 or derivative (which, mention manufacturer)? in
   what kind of project?
3) Have you used the 8048 (or derivative: which? manufacturer?) and in
   what kind of project?
4) Which of the following you use for development
   Language ALMOST_ALWAYS FREQUENTLY SELDOM NEVER
   Assembler _ _ _ _
   C _ _ _ _
   PL/M _ _ _ _
   other (which) _ _ _ _

5) [Non-8048 users skip this] What do you like in the 8048 derivatives? (well
I know you hate it as much as I do, but...)

Which development tools (give brand name) you use?

What are your complaints about this processor and the tools available?

Would you like more professional tools or would consider migrating to a
     more friendly processor?

What sort of development tools (or improvements) you would like to see in
     the 8048 (deriv) market?

6) Are you familiar with the I2C standard from Philips? do you use it?

Thanks for your time, I hope to see your response in my email box.
