There is a company in Rochester, New York called LaserMax, which
manufactures semiconductor laser diode packages and cylindrical
lenses. We got one for around $600 which is 4.25 Mw. Works great,
is small, and the entire package is rugged enough to be mounted on
the end of our robot.

Talk with Sean Pearsal, very helpful.
