First off, I received my miniboards last thursday. Hat's off to Greg for
doing such a great job (and Fred for the design). Which brings me to my next
problem...my PLCC socket for the HC811 is a little too big. I can't fit the
female headers near the edge of the socket and U3 (L293D) seems to be
obstructed as well. Is it just me or have others had this problem? (these
aren't the sockets listed in the parts list, I bought these locally). So I
can whip out my Dremel tool and shave off the excess plastic from the socket
but I thought someone may have a better suggestion. Perhaps mounting the
female headers on the underside of the board?? Anyhow, It's not your problem
just thought I'd ask if anyone had similar problems.

Secondly, Several months back I had a look at Fred Martin's course notes
for MIT's 6.270. Does anyone (Fred) know what the 6.270 course objective
is this year?(the one I looked at was robot soccer) Just curious.
