Why is that "underneath"?  Can't a person reject a millenia-old hunk of
philosophical nonsense in favor of common sense without being accused
of rejecting common sense?  Sheesh.  Or maybe you do actually favor
nonsense.  After all, what's symbolic or basic about neurons?
