It wus still in use the las' time I were oop there.

Getting pronouns and tenses mixed up is one of the trademarks of
English regional accents/dialects. I have a colleague from Nottingham
who regularly says "us" (pronounced uz) for "our". In Worcester, we
generally say "our" for "my" (I think my colleague uses this device as
well). So that when one of us is looking for his own book, for example,
I say: "uv y' sin are book?" and he says "Av yer seen uz book?"

"Give us a look" is standard for "may I have a look?"

To the South of Birmingham, you'll be greeted with

"'Allaow! 'Ow's yow'm a-doin'" for
"Hello! How is you am doing"
