: Water going back 6000 years was "WOD" according to the American
: researchers and "WETI" according to the Soviets. Where do they get this
: crap from? Just to set the record straight, here are the oldest Human
: words for Water (WOHA) so you can judge for yourselves the quality of Nova.
: Ancient Egyptian - MA - 6,000 years ago
: Sumerian - A
: Middle Egyptian - MU
: Akkadian - MU
: Elamite - ZUL
: Hurrian - SHIYIE
: Aramaic - MEYEEN
: Canaanite - MIY
: Luvian - WEEDANTS - no older than 4,000 years ago
: Hittite, Thracian, Palaic - WATAR - no older than 4,000 years ago.
: the Net, though I do know a lot about words for Water.

The "Master Blaster"'s original response (now deleted already on my
newsreader) was correct in one point: Akkadian (Also Assyrian) MU,
Aramaic MEYEEN (actually a plural) are related
and are known as "Semitic" languages. However Mr. Petrich neglected to
point out WHY these have the name "Semitic". It is becau, by almost
Universal tradition (unchanged until about the turn of the last Century)
these peoples have descended from one Siem or Shem, a child of Noh or
Noah. To be more specific, the progenitors of these races who were also
childran of Siem were named 'Ashor (Ashur) and 'Aram, and to these we may
add a third son, Arfaksid, whose earliest representative tongue would
appear fe be Arabic MWAY. That MU, MEYEEN and MWAY had all a common
etymological origin is not to be doubted. That noone can come up with any
*recorded* words as old as the ones I have given is also not to be
doubted. (Let's leave peoples armchair *P-words to one side for the
moment, shall we? Especially Soviet ones. I never trust their motives.)
There is one other language contemporary to these known as Kassite, and
perhaps their word for Water is known, but I have not been able to learn
it. Any help would be appreciated.
Anyway, to get back to MU, MEYEEN and MWAY: It is moreover certain that
Canaanite MIY (yuck!) is a version of the same word and though it is
considered by many to be
a Semitic speech, strictly speaking the Canaanites were never ethnic
Semites. Related to this is Middle Egyptian MU. Since it is obvious
from the Sphinx that the Ancient Egyptians were not Homo Sapiens (just
look at it, man!) it follows that their word for Water MA predates all
of these others, that we might justifiably call "Nostratic".
Incidentally, there are ancient sources which tell us that these
Non-Sapiens were actually descendants of Qayel or Cain, the first
murderah. Presumably their dialect (The oldest Egyptian) had diverged
somewhat from the original tongue by virtue of their separation from
the offspring of Siet or Seth. It is worth adding at this point that
in Gi'iz, another Semitic representative derived from South Arabic,
the word for Water is MAY, also in Tigrigna, whereas in Amharic the
normal word is actually WOHA there is an expression MAYE 'AYIH taken
from Gi'iz that means literally, Water of Downstruction, i.e. the
Great Flood!

Just thought you all might like to know the Truth! Be wary of those
theorists whose ultimate motive is to escape being judged on their
actions, who would use any means and distort anything to persuade us
that mankind was not designed to be the way he is and that the whole
Universe is really just a grand accident. These people will come up
with the most rediculous nonsense imaginable, until they have traced
their ancestry to a group of atoms which pulled itself into the first
conscious amoeba through the force of gravity, or some such drivel.
Thus when a series of bones and skulls which does not quite resemble
modern man is found, they rush to reconstruct faces on them that
resemble a chimp more than a human, conveniently ignoring the facts.
As I have said, look at the Sphinx and much of the other art labeled
as Ancient Egyptian, paying attention to the brow lines, besides
these so-called Hominids. It does not take a genius to distinguish in
these paintings and carvings a "Homo Habilis" skull from an "Erectus"
or, in the case of the "Narmer Palette", to discern an "Erectus"
smashing out the brains of an "Australopithecus".

Cool Runnins, Selam lenante yihun Ras William I
