Peter was always a sullen boy, because he knew that \fIThey\fP
were writing about him and Jane.
He grew to hate Jane, because they always did such inane things together when
they could have been ringing animals' necks or firing catapults at the Vicar.

One day, Peter was walking with Jane by the side of a great cliff when he saw a Golden Opportunity.
Peter knew that all his troubles would soon be over.

After all, she would have done if she'd thought of it, but she wasn't
very bright.
