18-213/18-613 Intro to Computer Systems: Homeworks

In addition to the labs, there will be weekly homeworks:

• The first homework will go out on the first day of class.
• Homework is submitted to canvas and is automatically graded.
• Homework goes out on Tuesdays, covers that week's material, and is due a 1.5 weeks later on Thursday (one week after the Thursday lecture that it covers).
• Two homeworks are replaced by the miderm, which is a low-stakes, open book, take-home midterm. Further details will be presented in lecture and posted to Piazza.
• There are no grace days for homework (We built them in by providing 9 days). The late penalty is 15% per day. You can turn in a homework at most 3 days late.
• We will drop your two lowest scores, which can include half or all of the midterm
• The homeworks are designed to reinforce concepts from the lectures held the week the homework is released.
