on the school itself, as well as information on student life.
You can also scan the e-mail directory or read the computer

not be overlooked. A fantastic collection of invaluable financial
aid information can be found here.
One of Southern California's most prestigious universities' home
page offers Netscape users access to general information, department
specific information, and available grants for potential graduate
students.
For those who want to learn how to read maps and the information
they contain, this is a page that must be visited. Step-by-step
instructions guide the user through an explanation of maps and
their contents.
Patch American High School, in Stuttgart, Germany, is a high school
established by th Department of Defense for children of military
personnel on base. Its home page contains a wealth of information
on their activities and projects.
The home page of UCLA, one of the country's most well-known schools,
contains useful local information. You can search the student
directory, scan the schedule of classes, and look for job openings
on campus.
The University of California at San Diego has made its library
resources available to the Net. Access its library system, Melvyl,
the online Encyclopedia Britannica( if you subscribe ), as well as
the San Diego City Page.
The Indiana University system's master Web page can be found here;
just look for the IU logo. From this page, you can jump to the Web
pages of any of the IU campuses, and even find out what new classes
are available for graduates there.
Cornell's Law Library is now partly available to you at this site.
If you want to research legal decisions from the Supreme Court
within the last few years, or other major legal topics, you'll find
them at the Legal Information Institute.
The Center for the Study of Southern Culture can be found here. The
CSSC studies about the culture in the American South, specifically,
states such as Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Some of its
periodicals and special event listings are available here.
Dewey Library is an experiment by the University of Michigan and ICS
in delivering educational material to the students of the world. The
big difference here is that students can actually participate with
the program to help learn about the subject faster.
The Teacher Education Internet Server was established by the
Universities of Virginia and Houston to see how the Net could help
teacher education. A wide variety of disciplines are covered,
including reading and special education.
