It's not that they won't get you there, they are just, er..., sub-optimal. That route is, however, extremely scenic if you want to see downtown Sharon (through which East State Street runs, not Main Street). My instructions will begin just after the exit for Route 18 taken in the previous set of instructions. You can take the turnpike to 60 rather than 79-80 to shave a few miles (of construction) and minutes, but at the cost of about $1.65. Either way, follow the instructions given. Once on 18, count 3 lights. You should have a McDonalds on the left. Turn left at this intersection onto "the Freeway" (Connely Blvd. ??). Follow this through several sets of lights until you are obviously rolling into downtown Sharon. You will cross a set of railroad tracks, and the QS&L/Tully's/Seafood Express complex will be on your left in a few yards.
