>>> 'fancoil' problem from phillip -- Mon Apr 17 08:33:40 1989 <<<

Per the PM program:
 All condensation pan drain tubes were inspected from the respective
service chases. They were all purged with air or n2. All seem in
proper working order.

>>> 'fancoil' problem from phillip -- Fri Jun 16 07:40:29 1989 <<<

P: Oldlab fancoil condensate pan drain tube obstructed.
S: Drained pan. Cleaned mess.

   The sheet metal pan is oxidizing and shedding flakes. These
   flakes then find their way into the drain tube. There is not
   a lot that can be done about this.
Per the calendar program, all other condensate drains will be
checked today.

The condensate pan again overflowed in the old lab. The line was blown
out and seems too be flowing. A new condensate pan is in order as the
old one is badly corroded. I will put in a request to P&FM.

The temperature inside R2 is very noticeably higher than in R1.
The gcapg chamber is holding its own for now, but it is on the high end.

>>> 'fancoil' problem from phillip -- Tue Jun 27 09:48:43 1989 <<<

P: "FC14", above CR1, not working.
S: Adjusted downward the thermostat air pressure that activates
   unit. ( Tightened belt, inspected condensate pan and drain,
   and set thermostat to 20dC.)
   This unit is up and running.

(Marilyn, it is possible that I overadjusted into the 'cold range'.
 If this turns out to be the case in a day or so, pls. apprise me.
 Thank you.)

Problem:
Warm in vlsi area.

Engineering analysis:
Rear fancoil unit does not seem to put out cold air. The one by the
analytical area seems to work ok so probably not problem with recirc
loop temp.

Editorial:
None.

Problem: Condensation drain line from fan coil unit above AN1 was blocked

Cause: Line filled with sludge

Solution: Replaced line and fittings

>>> 'fancoil' problem from bob -- Fri Mar  9 16:00:30 1990 <<<

The canon room is running warmer than normal. A check of the room
indicates one hepa was off (over the canon). This has been turned
on. A check of the fancoil units in CY-1 and CY-2 indicates
the fancoil unit in CY-2 is not operational. A check of the power
buckets in Rm 546 (load center for fancoil units) showed 1 bucket
was off and not tagged MCL-5. This was turned on however the
fancoil unit is still down. It will be inspected on Monday.

Otto will be assigned the task of replacing all fancoil belts as
PM. This is likely the cuase of the above failure.
Until the fancoil unit is repaired, Y-1 is running +3F over normal
during the mid day.

>>> 'fancoil' problem from phillip -- Tue Mar 13 09:57:52 1990 <<<

Replaced belt #4L390 on unit above CY1.
Inspected belt in unit above CY2.
Fancoils are up and working.

>>> 'fancoil' problem from bob -- Tue Mar 20 07:47:47 1990 <<<

All the belts of the fancoil unit are being replaced for preventative
maintenance. (Belt # 4L390). Of those thus far removed most
were cracked and had been in service since the labs begining.
A quick check of the thermostats controlling thse units
indicates they are badly out of calibration. Attempts to
calibrate them will be made with replacement an option if
this proves necessary.

P: Condensate dripping into service chase.
S: Unclogged drain line.
The problem as reported by Evan is fixed.
