Again, there was a lot of queer energy in the place. It also seemed
very woman-oriented; there was never more than about 20% men in the
place, and when I left, I don't think there were any men around.
The dance floor was pretty small--about the size of Soba's--but
surrounded by tables instead of by walls, so it wouldn't get as
crowded, I think. It wasn't terribly crowded, even so--I was alone on
the dance floor at times, and there were at most 10 people on the
floor while I was there.
The crowd was an older crowd than that at many of the clubs that I've
been to. Dancefloor ettiquette was pretty courteous; I saw physically
disabled women dancing reasonably comfortably, which is a Good Thing.
I had particular fun tonight because I got a pleasant amount of
compliments on my shirt and on my dancing.
All in all, I'd recommend it as a pleasant place, particularly if
you're a queer woman.
