Brewed in the style of an Imperial Stout, with everything we had to hand
that evening. All weights very approximate, since we had no scales...
- 11lb dry light malt extract
- 6oz chocolate malt, crushed
- 6oz roasted barley, crushed
- 1oz 8.4% Perle (60 minutes)
- 1oz 4.6% Hallertau ( " )
- 1oz 4.6% Kent Goldings ( " )
- 1oz 4% Fuggles ( " )
- 0.5oz 8.5% Brewers Gold ( " )
- 4oz 4% (?) Sean's home-grown Cascade (5 minutes)
- Culutre of BrewTech Irish Dry Stout yeast
Specialty grains steeped at 160-170F in 2 gallons of Pittsburgh water
for 15 minutes. SG 1125.
