ENL Information about the European Netrek League and mailing list ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: margot@disuns2.epfl.ch (Joel Margot) Newsgroups: rec.games.netrek Subject: EUROPEAN MAILING LIST SET ! Date: 8 Sep 92 17:55:07 GMT Ok friends! Thanks to Andy Williamsfrom UK, we, european players, have our own means of communcation through a mailing list: netrek@cs.bham.ac.uk Registering should be made either at: A.Williams@computer-science.birmingham.ac.uk or at: netrek-request@computer-science.birmingham.ac.uk Hope this will work out well and that it will allow us to have more than 4 players in a game ;-) Best, Joel (Ubik) ------------------------------ Newsgroups: rec.games.netrek Subject: NEW ENL-related FTP-archive From: ppregler@risc.uni-linz.ac.at (Peter Pregler) Date: Fri, 30 Oct 1992 12:19:35 GMT Hi all, I have put the latest copy of the ENL-rules on our anonymous ftp-server here at RISC. The address is melmac.risc.uni-linz.ac.at (140.78.140.60) in the directory /pub/netrek. You will also find all the statistics and any other official ENL-info there as soon as we have some. There is also a script to control (more or less) a scrimmage on a normal server. It anounces gametime, resets the galaxy, nukes players at the start. Try it out and improve it as you like. Have fun, Peter. PS: ENL stands for European Netrek League. ------------------------------ From: Jonathan Browning Ellis Date: Wed, 25 Jan 1995 21:28:42 -0500 Your enl stuff is really out of date. I'd suggest replacing it with http://info.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/1/misc-info/netrek/enl ------------------------------ End of ENL **********
