Your optometrist probably has a box that a Lion empties periodically.

If there's a Lion in the house, this is the time to make yourself known.

I'm not a Lions Club member, but my husband is.  If you have any eyeglasses
you'd like to donate, put them in an envelope to me:

From personal experience, I know that they are used.  The Lions Clubs
recycle them nationally and internationally.  The glasses are inspected,
tagged with the prescription and matched with new frames if necessary and
are distributed to needy people.
