Some suggestions for recycling old computer equipment:

Start with posting the stuff on the cmu.market Bboard.

Then, how about Triangle Tech or some electronics school?

Lastly, you can lug them to a scrap dealer, who won't give you money but
will recycle the metals.

CMU recycling coordinator, can help you find an appropriate place.
