The regular procedure for recycling cardboard is:

        Flatten the carton and leave it in the hall outside your office.
        Make sure you remove any non-cardboard packing material such as
        styrofoam "peanuts".

        Alternatively, you can place your cardboard behind Physical Plant.
        There is also a dropoff behind Mellon Institute.

We do not encourage people to bring cardboard from home, since the volume
would be too high for us to handle. If you have cardboard at home you wish
to recycle, take it to:

        American Recycling, Strip District, 391-3100.
