Status 



Pointing Mechanism is being fabricated (should be here by Jan 17th)

All sensors for pointing (except the II DGPS unit) acquired.

Simulations in progress.

Actuators being tested.

Nick is working on pointing.



Router and related stuff arrived. CS Facilities configuring these.



Satellite contract not signed yet. Walt Andersen agreed to loan the 
equipments for Chile end. That doesn't help us until the PanAmSat agrees to 
donate the link time or give it for cheap. Dave Gump talking to PanAmSat. If 
PanAmSat doesn't come through by 15th Jan, we go with Lyman Brothers.

Satellite Contract Signed.

Pointing mechanism simulations complete.

Preliminary demonstration of the pointing mechanism.
