Nevada entered on 10/31/64. So much for West Virginia being the ONLY one.

Also, re a previous comment: The Constitution reguired NINE, not 11 states
to ratify it to take effect. So it was not New York in July 1788, but New
Hampshire one month earlier, that you should have cited; but of course it
was not operative in all the states till Rhode Island ratified in May 1790.
