This seems to be a very common misconception, even amoung the learned.

Please, people, Glagolitik (I'm using the name they call it in Germany)
is only related to Cyrillic in that they were both developed by the 
monk Cyrill.  Anyone who's ever seen the two of them knows that they
otherwise have absolutely nothing in common whatsoever!  The don't
look anything alike.

Please, lets get this straight!
