ML 95 announces the availability of travel scholarships for students
without other means of support hoping to attend the conference.
Preference will be given to students presenting papers in the
conference or workshops. The deadline date for application is June 1,
1995. The earlier you apply the faster we will be able to respond to
your request.

Because these scholarships are funded by the International Computer
Science Institute (ICSI, Berkeley, CA), they are limited to nationals
of ICSI's sponsoring countries - Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
General scholarships will be announced separately.

Applicants should send the following items:
 - A note describing the intended participation in the conference
    and/or workshops,
 - A brief curriculum vitae,
 - A request for a specific amount of support (US dollars) and a
    travel budget,
 - A note from an advisor supporting the application and verifying
that no other source of funding is available for this purpose.

All materials should be sent to via email to Allison Mitchell
(mitchell@cs.ucdavis.edu). The note from advisor should be sent
directly from the advisor to mitchell@cs.ucdavis.edu.
