Does anyone know organisations which can supply rugged cameras
and/or housings for harsh, dusty environments?

We need to acquire and process images from a camera located in
an outdoor setting in central Australia. The system must cope
with ambient temperatures up to 50C (120F), and maintain a clear
lens or window in the face of dust and water sprays (our
algorithm requires high quality images at all times). Commercial
outdoor housings are equipped with wiper-washers which cause
severe smearing and eventually seize up in this environment. We
require a low maintenance system with a high MTBF.

Cheers,

S2
