I am looking for a speech synthesis (text-to-speech) product/system which
can produce output of highest possible quality. Cost of system is no
object (unless it requires a Cray or mainframe). The object of my search
is to find something which sounds really human, rather than something
which is instantly recognized as a computer. It doesn't even have to
run in real time, i.e. it can take whatever (reasonable) time it needs
to generate output audio. The emphasis is on QUALITY. I've heard
SoundBlaster and PlainTalk, and I was not very impressed. If you have
any info, please contact me.
