People,

I am searching for information on speech recognition: What is the current
state of the art? What problems have to be solved before we can easily and
cheaply talk to our computers?

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who can point me toward
organisations doing research or who have actually got products on the market.
Also pointers to any books or papers on the topic will also be appreciated.

Please email me directly as I don't have access to the newsgroups (this is being
posted by a friend). I will summarise and ask him to post the results.

Thanks in advance.
