Does anyone know of a probability distribution function which may be used to model the
duration of silence in speech for a two way conservation? I know that the average
duration of silence in a two way conversation is 57%, but I need the distribution
function that approximates variances in the silence period.

If you can answer this, please email me at lolson@cs.sfu.ca since I do not read this
news group very often.

Thankyou
