There is a PCMCIA sound card called WAVJammer.
The company VERBEX has a SR software product that works w/sound (blaster
type) cards.

There is an article on VERBEX in Sept94 Computer Shopper, sorry, I don't 
have their number here.

I just ordered VERBEX sw with a SB16 ASP card.
