I disagree: We abstracted the concept of space from the extension we
noticed between different stuff in our field of vision. Without some
stuff, space loses any meaning, and vice versa.

It is a mistake to single out a particular aspect of the world, rip it
from its relations with other aspects, and use it as a blanket definition
for the entire world.

The universe is the objective reality from which we appropriate concepts
such as space, stuff, speed, etc. Anyone who thinks about it for awhile
will notice that all fundamental properties we attribute to the world
depend upon one another for their signifigance.

Sorry I reached back a little on this thread,

Jason
