No.  YOU are so stupid you have to append it.  You could
  
  --learn to edit the included text (*strongly* recommended--who wants
    to sit through this whole tedious conversation over and over again?);)

  --change the character that quotes included text to fool the news server;

  --if you *have* to add lines to fool the news server, one character
    will do!  You just added about 300 characters to this already
    *way* overlong, expensive, relatively useless furshlugginer article!

If you can't be bothered to get a clue about the news software works,
stay the hell away from it.
