Does anyone out there have recommendations for books that have simple A-Life
models. I desire models of the complexity covered in Resnick's "Turtles,
Termites and Traffic Jams", or Dewdney's books ("The Magic Machine" and "The
Armchair Universe").

Are there any introductory Biology/Ecology texts that use such models?

Either post here, or e-mail to me and I will summarize.
