Could someone point me (or even send information) on a hardware/software
package that could be used by a deaf person? Here is what this person
asked me about: They want a package that can display words on the
screen as they are spoken by someone over the telephone (i.e. they want
to be able to read the conversation on the screen). This person can
talk fine, so a voice synth is not needed. If there is not a hardware
package, is there something commerically available (like through a
research or healthcare system)? I have no idea about the subject. I
did not think the voice recognition software/hardware was very reliable
yet (especially for different people's voices). Any help is appreicated.
