      From the mention of the CCD, this appears to be a triangulation
device, rather than a time-of-flight device.  Those have been available
for some time; I built one once myself.  Time-of-flight is harder to
do, but it's all engineering cost; the parts aren't that expensive.
If there's anyone out there who's an RF design heavy, I'd like to talk
to them.  I built a prototype once, but ran into serious noise problems
and never really got it to work usefully.
