I have used the camera on a mac, but have yet to  hook it to my 68k mess I
build.  It can use standard mac serial ports (256 kbps), although it wants
the geoport (2 megbit).  This might be a problem for slow computers.  It
also draws 2 amps from the serial port.

It works very well in low light, although it can not see IR.  It also has a
built in microphone.
