Hello all,

I have built a miniboard and try to connect it to my XT computer.
When I download a program to it (hexmon40.s19), the screen says:
"Downloading 256 byte bootstrap (229 data)
       Expected 245, received 244
Perhaps the board was not connected properly or not in download mode

To try again, place board in download mode and press RETURN..."

Can anyone tell me what's the possible reasons for that. I have traced
the whole circuit board soldered connections and they should be ok.
Futhermore, when I connect the miniboard (without power) to my computer,
the green LED labeled RCV glows green brightly. However, when I power
up the board, the green LED is gone and the red PWR LED glows a little
bit (not bright.) When I use an ohmmeter to check the serial adaptor,
it shows that pin 2 (TxD) of my DB-25 adaptor is connected to RxD of
RJ-11 jack of the miniboard. I even swap pin2 and pin3 of the serial
adaptor, but the same thing happens. In addition, when the above
screen appears, the red LED blinks a little bit and all the LEDs
turn on, including the motors LEDs. I just worry about I connected
something wrong and burned the 6811 CPU. If someone has any suggestions
or comment, please reply to me and I will very appreciate that.
     Thank you very much.
