The Gemini Rabbit wireless video transmitter and receivers are now
being sold by discounters for less than $30.

The units transmitt regular composite video. Transmitter and Receiver
run off 18VDC (AC adapters come with units). Transmission in is 900MHz
license -free range. We've used them line of sight for 30-40meters.

The only downside is that the Receive end (presumably the off-robot
side) puts out the video on Channel 3 or 4. This means you need a TV
tuner to get the video. The cheapest solution is to take an old VCR
(the tape mechanisms usually go bad and not the tuner) and use the
tuner to give you video out. If you're just using it for inspection or
teleoperation you won't even need to do this - just use a TV. Comes
with cabling and connectors.
