Hi,

I'm looking for papers concerning (mainly reflexive) navigation of a mobile robot
by ultrasonic sensors. The sensors are surrounding the vehicle and can be
installed at (nearly) any place. Are there any surveys concerning the best
configuration of the sensors in order to prevent nonvisible regions? It is
intended to use the ultrasonic sensors only to avoid collisions or to follow a
wall, so to say only for exploring the world in the nearness of the vehicle.
(the vehicle has a rectangular form)

Each hint is welcome!

Thanks in advance

Alexander
