Hello:
I have been trying to get a 6811 to communicate with a PC.
I have writen setup, send, and receive routines. I started testing
by writing 'a' to the PC repeatedly. That does not work.
When I look at it on a logic analyser, the bits appear to be 16uSec wide
which would indicate 62500 BAUD right?
The BAUD register is being set up with the right value for 9600 BAUD.
I don't know much about serial communications, that could be the problem.

Is there anywhere where I can get a simple polling send and recieve routine?

Anyone have any idea what is happening?

Would you please e-mail responses.

Thanks in advance
