I know this question was asked this summer but I did not get a chance to
read the results.
I am wondering what Mark Tiden uses the christmas/birthday card
chips for. Also how can I hook them up to do the same.

I am also wondering how to discharge a capacitor automatically
when it has been fully charged. I know it can be done by
adjusting the nax voltage to be a logical one and use some extra
logic to close a switch, but this means using some opamps etc.
I'm looking for a very small way that uses minimal parts.

Thanks All
