      Are you sure you have a servomotor?  You might have a stepping
motor or just some multi-speed motor.  A servomotor will have a shaft
encoder or tachometer built in or attached.

      If you're going to ask questions like this, give all the information
you have, such as "motor name, company, etc." and "some more words about
patents and such".  Thank you.
