The AAAI RBL was written up on the June 24 issue of Science News:

Peterson, Ivars. Gearing up for a robot rodeo. Science News,
		p 61, v 144, n 4, July 24, 1993.

There's a picture of Not Yet accompany the article. The article describes
the two contests, and how the participants had three days (and nights) to
put together working robots. It mentions that the competitors attended
a tutorial to learn about building robots and programming in Interactive
C. The article also quotes a few of the participants and organizers and
describes some of the teams philosophies.

I thought was a pretty good article, additionally its proof that I actually
was playing with LEGOs at the AAAI convention.
