I have some very good friends who have a couple of retail
computer/surplus/salvage/scrap stores here in Arizona. They
are opening their third retail outlet and want to expand
their piece parts line to cater to the local university
electronics crowd. They have asked me what a good basic
starting assortment of components would be. They do not
have the budget to go out and buy 25 each of every 74XXX
part so they just want to hit the highlights, stock things
that have a reasonable chance of moving.

Sooo.....

What would YOU want to see in a hobbiest electronics store?
What do you find yourself regularly running out to get?

I, and they would appriciate and suggestions you may have.
Seriously, when was the last time a retailer asked YOU what
you would like to see on the shelves.

Thanks,
John
