Okay, the $64,000 question: how dirty? :-)
Are we talking person-hours, weeks, months?  Obviously predicting this
accurately is very difficult, so do you know offhand the effort that was
involved in some of the other ports?

One little voice in my head is saying, "Written to be portable, not a GUI,
ported to other platforms, can't be _that_ hard."  while another voice
keeps chiming in "Must be hard if someone hasn't done it by now...".
