Call for Papers: 2nd Model-Based Vision Workshop

The 2nd Model-Based Vision Workshop is the successor to the workshop "Future
directions of Model-Based Vision" which was successfully held in Hawaii,
summer of 1991. We propose to conduct the workshop February 8, 9, and 10,
1994 at Seven Springs, a ski resort in the mountains east of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, USA.

The goal of the workshop is to review the progress, as demonstrated by both
the achievements and the failures, during the two year period since the
first workshop and to provide a clear picture of future directions.

Areas of interest include (but are not limited to):
  o Observation-based Model generation techniques

  o Model-based sensor simulation techniques

o Database information retrieval and feature selection techniques

o Model-based object recognition strategies and their automatic generation
    techniques

o Model-based navigation strategies and their automatic generation
    techniques (including landmark recognition)

o Model-based inspection strategies and their automatic generation
    techniques (including sensor planning)
