Well, the reason for that is historical.  The code was written over a
period of two years, with pieces grabbed from here and there.  So it's
not all ANSI, whereas I would like it to be.  Will work on that when I
have nothing better to do.

Please let me know.  The 1.0.2 version is quite recent, and don't expect
anyone to have ported it to an HP, since I have made it PD only a few
monhts ago.
