I'm reading an add from U.S.Cyberlab in Computer Craft magazine.
They advertise a three axis XYZ table 18" by 18" by 6" (and I think
those are the stroke lengths although I could be mistaken) for $549.
Very inexpensive. You supply a Dremel tool. BASIC. $22.95 P&H. 
 
If any one out there buys one of these I'd be interested in learning 
more about it and possible getting one myself.
