This is in response to a posting last week about a suitable strategy game
which might be suitable for training a NN to play. Can I suggest the African
game kalah. It's simple, but the strategy (except for the end-game) is
non-trivial and non-obvious. There are even some variations in the rules tp
play with. It is described in "Etudes for Programmers" by C. Wetherell, P/H,
1978, ISBN 0132918072.
For more details contact me directly (in Canberra, and I think the original
posting was from Canberra, my phone is 2012393)
David
