This question is for experts in neurobiology.

I wonder if there are any cases described, that in brains can exist 
pairs of neurons which are interconnected with multiple connections.
I mean there exist more than one link between the same two neurons,
through two or more dendrits.

This topology may seem nonsence for the first sight, but it is important to me
if  this is be possible. Please anyone who can share some opinion about 
this issue, help me.
