There are a variety of nets that compute principal components or some
transformation thereof. See:

   Cichocki & Unbehauen (1993), _Neural Networks for Optimization and
   Signal Processing_, Wiley,

   Hertz, J., Krogh, A. & Palmer, R.G. (1991), _Introduction to the
   Theory of Neural Computation_, Addison-Wesley.

I've never heard of a net that does common factor analysis, but if you
read Cichocki & Unbehauen and try hard enough, you should be able to
come up with one.
